Go With The Flow: Making the Most of Your Landmark Visits

Introduction

When I moved to London, one of the first things I did (besides buying groceries) was make plans to visit the city’s landmarks. While some attractions are definitely more fun than others, there are plenty of ways to make sure you get your money’s worth during your trip. Here are my top tips for visiting London’s most famous sites:

Go With The Flow: Making the Most of Your Landmark Visits

Look up the facts

  • Look up the history of your landmark.
  • Look up where it is, and how to get there.
  • Plan your visit for a time when you know you’ll have access to the best resources (e.g., during daylight hours).
  • If you’re going with friends or family members who are interested in learning more about landmarks too, bring along a guidebook that has been written by someone who knows what they’re talking about!

Take pictures before you get on the bus or train.

  • Take pictures before you get on the bus or train.
  • You can take a picture of the landmark from the bus or train, but it will be easier if you do it beforehand so that there are no obstructions in your way when trying to take a photo of your landmark.

Be competitive

It’s time to get competitive! There are many ways to do this, but we’ll start with some of the most common.

  • Compete with friends and family: If you’re travelling with a group of people who are also interested in seeing landmarks, try making it into a game. Who can spot the most famous landmarks? Who knows the best trivia about them? Who can find their way around town on foot fastest? These kinds of games will make your trip more fun and help pass the time while waiting in line or exploring new areas together.
  • Get a group together: If there aren’t any other people on your tour bus who share your interests in seeing historical sites, look online and find someone else who wants to go on this kind of trip! The internet is full of groups willing (and eager) to travel with fellow explorers like yourselves–and if none exist yet then why not start one yourself? Just make sure that everyone knows what they’re getting themselves into before signing up for anything official – nothing ruins an otherwise good day faster than being stuck somewhere without access information because someone didn’t read through all those fine print details beforehand..

Plan ahead to avoid disappointment.

  • Plan ahead to avoid disappointment.
  • Plan ahead to save time and money.
  • Plan ahead so that you don’t miss out on anything.

Relax and enjoy the ride.

You can relax and enjoy the ride.

And make the most of your landmark visit.

You can learn more about the landmark, taking pictures and sharing them with friends. You can even be competitive with them! Or you can plan ahead to avoid disappointment by checking if there are any road closures or construction on Google Maps before driving out there (you’ll be surprised how often this happens).

A landmark visit can be boring or fun depending on how you do it.

Landmark visits can be boring or fun, depending on how you do them. If you’re looking for a way to make your next landmark visit more exciting, try one of these ideas:

  • Take a tour! Tours are great for learning about the history of your landmark and getting an insider’s perspective from someone who knows it well. They also give you an opportunity to explore places that might otherwise be off-limits (for instance, if there’s no way in hell I’d ever go inside Buckingham Palace).
  • Get local! Talk with people who live near or work at your destination and see what they have to say about it–they may have some interesting facts about their city or country that aren’t included in guidebooks.
  • Enjoy nature! Landmarks often provide excellent views of beautiful landscapes; take advantage of these opportunities by taking photos! And don’t forget: landmarks aren’t just buildings–sometimes they’re parks too! Make sure not only to look up but also around when visiting these areas so as not miss any hidden gems nearby such as trees/flowers etcetera…or maybe even wildlife such as squirrels 🙂

Conclusion

There are many ways to make the most of your landmark visits. You can plan ahead, take pictures before you get on the bus or train, and relax and enjoy the ride. If you do all this then it will be much more fun!
